The release of pure domestic server chip is Loongson, Loongson 3D5000 will be two wafer-level Loongson 3C5000 package together, thereby doubling the performance, can fully meet the needs of server chip performance, this is the domestic chip in the chip stacking technology in another attempt to provide a new idea for the domestic chip.
Chip stacking technology has long been proposed by domestic chips, and there are also domestic chip attempts, but Loongson is the first domestic chip in the commercial application of chip stacking technology. The application of chip stacking technology on the server chip is that it can solve the heat dissipation problem, the server generally has a large space, and the mobile phone chip application chip stacking technology takes into account the narrow space of the mobile phone, need to solve the power problem to be applied.

However, ARM and X86 architectures are controlled by the United States, and ARM's latest requirements will not authorize the powerful Neoverse V series, which is specially developed for server chips, to Chinese chip companies, further promoting the need for domestic chips to develop server chips with controllable chip architectures.

Today, chip stacking technology has been applied in server chips, which means that the constraints of advanced processes limiting domestic server chips have been broken, and this technology can be used to greatly improve the performance of server chips and meet the performance needs of domestic data centers for server chips.
It can be said that the launch of Loongson 3D5000 will encourage more domestic chip companies to develop purely domestic server chips, and replace the server chips of American chip companies such as Intel with server chips designed and produced by domestic chip architecture and domestic chip manufacturing process, which will be a huge blow to the American chip industry. Domestic chips will further free themselves from the limitations of American technology.
